Service Description
he Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid is a two day course, held at our Manchester training centre. This qualification has been designed to meet the current Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements and is ideal for: Those who have gained a level 2 and/or level 3 childcare qualification and have entered into an early years setting and wish to be included in the staff to child ratios to comply with EYFS requirements. Registered childminders and assistants who are required to hold a current and full paediatric first aid certificate in order to comply with the EYFS requirements. Anyone who has a non-professional involvement with infants and children, such as parents and grandparents who want to learn key paediatric first aid skills. Over a 2 day period, learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of paediatric first aid situations, including: assessing an emergency situation, dealing with an unresponsive infant or child, CPR, choking, meningitis, head and spinal injuries, anaphylaxis, asthma and more.
Cancellation Policy
Quantum Medical Services Ltd Training Academy Course Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policy 1. Booking Confirmation A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or a non-refundable deposit (if applicable). All course fees must be paid in full prior to the course start date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Confirmation details and joining instructions will be sent via email. 2. Cancellation by the Delegate All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to the Training Academy administration team. The following cancellation terms apply: More than 14 days before the course start date: Full refund minus an administrative fee of £25. 7–14 days before the course start date: 50% refund of the course fee. Less than 7 days before the course start date: No refund will be issued. Failure to attend (no-show): No refund or transfer will be offered. 3. Transfers & Substitutions Delegates may transfer to an alternative course date (subject to availability) if requested at least 7 days prior to the original course date. Only one transfer per booking is permitted. Substitutions (sending another delegate in your place) are permitted at no additional cost, provided written notice is received before the course start date. 4. Cancellation by Quantum Medical Services Ltd Training Academy Quantum Medical Services Ltd Training Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to: Insufficient delegate numbers Trainer illness Venue issues Circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure) In such cases, delegates will be offered: A full refund, or A transfer to an alternative course date Quantum Medical Services Ltd Training Academy shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by delegates (e.g., travel, accommodation, loss of earnings). 5. Late Arrivals Delegates arriving late may be refused entry if missing key course components. No refund will be provided in such cases. 6. Refund Processing Refunds will be processed within 14 working days and returned via the original payment method. 7. Special Circumstances Requests for cancellation due to exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies) will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Supporting documentation may be required. 8. Agreement to Terms By booking a course with Quantum Medical Services Ltd Training Academy, delegates agree to this Cancellation & Refund Policy.
