Service Description
he Level 3 Award in Mental Health First Aid in the Workplace, delivered at our training centre in Manchester, is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification that has been specifically designed for those who would like to become a Mental Health First Aider in their workplace. This qualification raises learners’ awareness of mental health, develops an understanding on how to support, reassure and signpost fellow colleagues to professional support. Supporting the people around us who are experiencing poor mental health has become a priority for many people and the organisations they work in. A greater understanding of common mental health issues has developed over the last few years and there has been a rise in the number of people who want to act as a Mental Health First Aider, to support and guide those around them. Throughout this 2 day course, learners will develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to actively promote positive mental health in the workplace by covering a range of topics, including understanding mental health and its importance, awareness of their own wellbeing as a Mental Health First Aider, common mental health conditions, how to support those experiencing poor mental health at work with tools such as active listening and non-judgemental support.
Cancellation Policy
Quantum Medical Services Ltd Training Academy Course Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policy 1. Booking Confirmation A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or a non-refundable deposit (if applicable). All course fees must be paid in full prior to the course start date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Confirmation details and joining instructions will be sent via email. 2. Cancellation by the Delegate All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to the Training Academy administration team. The following cancellation terms apply: More than 14 days before the course start date: Full refund minus an administrative fee of £25. 7–14 days before the course start date: 50% refund of the course fee. Less than 7 days before the course start date: No refund will be issued. Failure to attend (no-show): No refund or transfer will be offered. 3. Transfers & Substitutions Delegates may transfer to an alternative course date (subject to availability) if requested at least 7 days prior to the original course date. Only one transfer per booking is permitted. Substitutions (sending another delegate in your place) are permitted at no additional cost, provided written notice is received before the course start date. 4. Cancellation by Quantum Medical Services Ltd Training Academy Quantum Medical Services Ltd Training Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to: Insufficient delegate numbers Trainer illness Venue issues Circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure) In such cases, delegates will be offered: A full refund, or A transfer to an alternative course date Quantum Medical Services Ltd Training Academy shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by delegates (e.g., travel, accommodation, loss of earnings). 5. Late Arrivals Delegates arriving late may be refused entry if missing key course components. No refund will be provided in such cases. 6. Refund Processing Refunds will be processed within 14 working days and returned via the original payment method. 7. Special Circumstances Requests for cancellation due to exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies) will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Supporting documentation may be required. 8. Agreement to Terms By booking a course with Quantum Medical Services Ltd Training Academy, delegates agree to this Cancellation & Refund Policy.
